It has a balance of chunks and fine drainage materials for a wide variety of root types, and is great for most tropical and sub-tropical plants.

If you’re looking for the absolute best houseplant soil on earth for a wide variety of babies, this is the mix for you!

Environment match: general all-around mix for ALL thirsty tropicals. Not recommended for epiphytes.  

Please note: the "generous quart," "2-gallon," and "10-gallon bulk" sizes are premixed wet soil. The DrySoil (gallon and 10-gallon bulk) are shipped dry, so you can mix them at home. These must be mixed in full, all at once, as they contain separate ingredients like coco cookies or bricks, chunks of coco chips, and a separate packet of 'tasties'  - please plan to mix the entire amount when purchasing the bulk dry soil and have a large enough container to rehydrate and mix a large quantity of soil.

This blend is specifically formulated for the needs of maidenhair ferns but works well for other moisture-loving fusspots ferns too :)
