What is it?

Oh Happy Plant Bath is a silicone-based foliage cleaner. It is nontoxic to humans and pets when used as directed.

What does it do?

It cleans your leaves! It will remove dust, dirt, grease, and hard water deposits from leaves. It even repels dust! Our favorite use, though, is to ease the transition that plants experience between grower and home. This product is a miracle worker in making your plant-y life easier!

How should I use it?

Simply spray on the plant until it runs off. Spray front and back of leaves, as well as trunk and soil surface. Then just give the plant a gentle shake to knock excess off and let it dry!

What comes in the box?

16oz ready-to-use sprayer: 16oz plant bath, pre-mixed and ready to use! We mix at a medium dilution, about 3/8 TB per bottle.

4oz concentrate: this product is a 4oz bottle of concentrated formula - simply mix in your own spray bottle. One bottle of concentrate makes 8 to 16 quarts of product! Because we care about safety, we include an extra label for your spray bottle. Oh Happy Plant Bath is sold as a foliage cleaner only. User accepts all responsibility for off-label use of the product.

Do not use this product where spray may land on streams, fish tanks, or other otherwise come in contact with aquatic animals. Do not use on plants fully or partially immersed in fish tanks.

For sensitive and/or expensive plants, dilute product to 1/4 oz (1/2 tb) per quart water and do a spot test on one leaf first. Also, if applying product more frequently than every 14 days, rinse plant with plain water before each application after the first.

Some potentially sensitive plants (incomplete list): Ctenanthe spp, Philodendron plowmanii, Anthurium plowmanii 'Fruffles.' Please note that we have tested this extensively on common houseplants at the recommended 1/2oz per quart strength with no known issues, but we haven't tried it on every plant in the world. If in doubt, do a spot test :)

How to use:

Spray plant 1 to 3 times a week when you bring a new plant home to combat issues that arise during transition from grower to home environment. In the case of new leaf issues, use product several times and be sure to address any low light or improper watering concerns that may be stressing your plant. 

Product should not cause photosensitivity, but as with any liquid foliage product, take care when putting plants in direct sun or under grow lights, as droplets of water can magnify light rays.

During use, spray both front and back of all leaves as well as stems and soil surface.

Simply place one of our CHUG Mats into a deep saucer, then put your plant (in a nursery pot) on top! Water the plant as usual, then pour water into the saucer to 1-2mm above the level of the Mat. This special material will allow your plant to wick up water as needed, while preventing excess water from saturating the soil! Can be slightly 'fluffed' to increase depth of reservoir. Can increase time between watering up to 3x!

Sizing:

6" nursery pot: use 5" Mat and 7" saucer
8" nursery pot: use 8" Mat (cut to size) and 9" saucer
10" nursery pot: use 8" Mat and 11" saucer

A unique solution to those plants that can't seem to get enough water, these houseplant wicks extend the time between waterings so you can actually go on a vacation once in a while!

3-part system: extra-deep saucer, wick, and riser. We recommend using several rocks as the 'riser' (this just holds the plant pot up out of the water, creating a puddle that the wicks draw from). If you don't want to use rocks, we've got sturdy plastic cross-risers for you. Just put the 'riser' in the saucer, insert the wicks into the soil (tutorial here: https://youtu.be/2X0TclYZIno), then fill the saucer with water up to the level of the bottom of the nursery pot. Voila! Instant sub-irrigation!

Wicking is sold by the foot - just order however much you need and it will arrive in one long piece. Cut as needed.

Use this natural coco shell soil scoop when repotting or mixing soil. We love these scoops because they're minimally processed and completely plastic-free! They're also a great size for pouring soil around a root ball without spilling it all over the place :)

Scoops have a sanded bottom and can be used as a cute little planter or in a terrarium. They'll sit flat on a surface. Please note: due to the cutting tool used, some scoops are cut slightly unevenly. This does not affect the utility of the scoop.

These are our favorite bypass pruners! Full tang steel construction (the metal runs all the way down the handle, which makes a sturdier, long-lasting tool), rosewood handles (gorgeous!), strong spring action, and a clip to store them safely closed.
