Do you have a big repotting project or a large plant who wants a better home? This 2-gallon bag of Oh Happy Dirt is exactly what you need!

Oh Happy Dirt is our line of hand-blended potting mixes that are created to suit different plants’ needs.  Not all soils are created equal!

Here’s how we measure up:

  • We practice sustainability: our blends start with coco coir and coco chips, a renewable resource. We do not use non-renewable peat moss.
  • Due to concerns about fluoride, we do not use perlite.
  • We use compostable bags and labels for our retail products.
  • We know that whole ingredients are better for all of us – plants included! We use whole ingredients like alfalfa meal, flax seed meal, and glacial and volcanic rock dust to ensure balance for your plants.
  • We also include charcoal and humates to encourage healthy root growth.

Above all, we take the work out of re-potting plants. By choosing Oh Happy Dirt you are giving your plants the highest-quality substrate on the market, without the guesswork of creating a recipe that’s responsive to each species’ needs.

Best Soil Mix Ever!

I thought my plants were slow growers until I switched them to OHP soil! They just exploded with growth, my big plants look so much happier and are shooting leaves up so much faster than before I switched. Also, the customer service is AMAZING. I reached out to Veronica to inquire about the effectiveness of using the ‘Rainforest Floor’ blend for my Hoyas since I didn’t see the need in buying another bag (I only had one Hoya at the time). She responded promptly and offered me a sample-sized bag which was just the perfect amount I needed! Of course, the plant loved it and now has a bunch of new leaves and vines. Now that I have more, I will definitely be buying the full-sized blend for them!

My plants have never been happier!

I have been slowly transitioning all of my plants to Oh Happy Dirt and the difference is obvious. My Oh Happy Dirt plants are by far healthier and happier and growing much better than they did before. I am looking forward to the new blends coming soon and will keep repotting all my plants until they are all using OHD!

Like nothing else! My plants are doing amazing

My plants are all growing so much! It drains well, it's impossible to overwater, and I can easily tell when to water. It's SO MUCH less dense than nursery soil. I can run my fingers through it without having to dig. It stays moist so I'm actually watering a little less often for some of my plants.

Instead of buying new plants for a little bit, I'm really improving conditions for the plants I have. The plants I've changed to OHP soil are doing so much better. They're growing like crazy and thriving. This is some seriously perfect soil.
